From the 5th to the 7th of October, Twyford Drama are putting on a pair of one act plays that could not be more different.
'The Monkey's Paw' is a supernatural tale, with the perils of ambition at its heart. In this chiller, a family is granted three wishes, all of which come true but in a macabre and unexpected way.
Then there is 'Little Grimley Presents... Strictly Sex Factor On Ice.' It's a comedy all about getting bums back on seats for a local am dram theatre company where their numbers have dwindled. With some twists, turns, glamour, glitter ball, and relying on the fact that sex sells tickets, they embark on bringing a brand new show to life... while on roller skates!
In this episode we hear from the directors of the two plays. They reveal all about the joys - and sometimes the tribulations - of local amateur dramatics.
